Alison is a thought leader in the emerging cannabis industry and the Founder of Cannabis At Work. Which provides cannabis jobs, recruitment services, training and advice on impairment in the workplace.
Alison was the Co-Founder of TwoFold, a technology-enabled HR company based in Edmonton, AB. She is also a Consultant, working with small-medium sized businesses on their human resources strategies and serves on the board for the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA). She is the Past President of the HRIA Edmonton Chapter and currently a Term Instructor at the MacEwan School of Business. She teaches in the Human Resources Management and Bachelor of Commerce Program.

The legalization of cannabis in Canada is gearing up to be one of the biggest social experiments in modern history. Due to the entrepreneur-friendly privatization laws, relatively cheap electricity and water bills, and a relatively large landmass, Alberta has the potential to be a hub for pot. What economic, social, and cultural impacts will this have for the Province? How can we encourage more collaboration between citizens, public, and private sectors, and how can the Province lead as positive global leaders in this emerging industry?
