Dan is the Executive Producer and Director of Thrival Innovation + Music Festival which is an annual Pittsburgh-based event featuring multiple days of immersive, innovation-focused programming capped by a two-day outdoor live music experience. What began as a parking-lot-get-together, has now expanded into a modern-day music festival that attracts 15,000 people, 40 musical acts, and 36 innovation program lineups that span over five days.
As a social entrepreneur and as a Masters graduate in foreign policy, Dan is focused on finding new approaches to solve tough challenges and exploring the intersections of humans, technology, and creativity. Billboard considers Thrival as a festival that brings Grade-A music, and technology (together) to shed light on Pittsburgh’s cultural transformation.
